Asset auditing is the process of verifying and evaluating the existence, value and condition of a company's assets. The purpose of an asset audit is to ensure that the assets recorded in a company’s legal and financial records are accurate and complete and that the company's assets are being used and maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Asset auditing typically covers a wide range of assets, including tangible assets such as property, plant and equipment, as well as intangible assets such as intellectual property, patents, and licenses. The audit process involves reviewing and verifying the accuracy of the asset records, physically inspecting the assets, and testing the controls in place to ensure that the assets are protected and properly accounted for.

An asset audit performed by external auditors and is usually conducted on a periodic basis, such as annually or semi-annually, to ensure that the company's assets are accurately represented in its safety and operational records. The results of the audit can be used to identify potential issues or areas for improvement and to help the company make informed decisions about the management and use of its assets.

Our qualified lead auditors certify the compliance of your helideck with mandatory regulations, ensuring that you follow the best practices in the industry. Helideck safety regulations are crucial for the protection of everyone onboard. We conduct a full audit based on the relevant international, national civil aviation directives and companies own procedures and regulations. Our audit follows ICAO, CAP437, AMC for Offshore Operations but also AMC and CAP1264 for Onshore HEMS Hospital Helipads.

During the audit process, we thoroughly evaluate various aspects of your helideck, including the landing area size and surface, lighting and markings, as well as all helideck equipment, including fire-fighting and emergency response and rescue resources. We also examine any turbulence created by the superstructure and/or exhausts to ensure a safe operating environment. We also identify root cause and gap analysis as part of more extensive solutions and risk assessments for operational and safety management.
